yes I know it's Privateering tour, but after listen to 2001 bootlges lats weeks, I started this morning with 2004-2005 stuff in the car.
almost 10 years ago ! :o
 and I (re)discovered some gems :

- Milano, rai uno radio on 20th/09/2004, Mark alone on acoustic :
before Devil Baby he plays an intro, and it's the instruymental featuring on golden demos, which later became part of behind with the rent
between Sonny and Tupelo, he plays Mississipi blues riff, alone on acoustic, explaining "it's like playing piano"

- RTL2 radio, Paris, 13th/10/2004, Mark and Luke Brighty on acoutic guitars :
a "french" pun with Ray crock' name "Croque-monsieur"  ;D
Donegan's gone played slide on acoustic guitar : the only one version like that, to my knowledge

- dubai :
great Trawlermans song with the crowd singing along
great great Baloney with Matt's organ solo

Can't wait to this evening back home, listening to Lyon (I was there)  :P :P :P

Thanks JF!!  My interest is piqued...  can I find this stuff on the Spanish Tracker?

sorry  for late response Liz. Yes I think so, but I have to admit that I never used the tracker, nor Dime....so I can't confirm for sure.
Anyone ?

OK... I, too, have old-concert-itis...

So way back in June, telegraph78 (who I am pretty sure I met in St-Julien, no?  :wave), sent me the Dubai 2005 concert.  And this IS a real gem...  thank you, telegraph78 and JF, for mentioning this concert!!

The Trawlerman's Song (and to a lesser degree, R&J) is super cool with the crowd singing along.   :clap :clap :clap

So, my odd questions are: Did any AMITers attend?? :wave  ...and also, what kind of venue is this place???  The crowd is super fun, and with them singing along, it gives the impression that they maybe a rather small gathering..  1000 people??

I guess I am looking for any additional info, that would help give me a better picture in my mind of this concert.   :D

9000 capacity was what one review mentioned on localhero.org, while another review mentioned 7000.
