What happened yesterday:
At late breakfast I decided to go to Spain as well. Madrid and Malaga would fit my schedule.
Last night: JBaent helped me booking the Malaga ticket, standing, no early entry but great! It took him hours to help me because he translated step to step to be able to complete the booking. I don't speak spanish, so sometimes hard to understand.
Today again JBaent helped a lot to find a Madrid ticket, found some, but for some reason I had to put in my ID-card number (only numbers allowed) My ID-card has some numbers, but even more letters, so I got stuck. Happy at the end, because I also dropped other lines, and managed to have a 6th row ticket on the floor in Madrid (thanks to another fan in Spain)
Booked airplanes to Madrid and from Malaga back home, trainbooking from Madrid to Malaga will be arranged by my good friends who do all the shows.
So tonight find some hotels and a new experience to have concerts in Spain will be reality :)
What an amazing bunch of people, those MK-fans. Thanks a million to you all!

Ok, confession, I am higly addicted :P
Before the presale I was thinking about doing about 12 shows.
In presale, after talking with some people it turned out to be 17.
In London I changed my booking for the ferry the day I had to drive back (made it 02.00 in the morning instead of 16.00)
So I had an extra night at RAH, a friend had a real good spare ticket.
Then I decided not to drive 800 km. 2 days in a row to Clermont Ferrand, so I bought Dijon as well. And then I decided to have a spare ticket from someone else for St. Julien en Genevois (I turn out to be in L

Last week, I couldn't attend the Cologne show, no time, too much work to do, and I really found myself thinking: Well, I have seen MK 20 times already,
but NOT meeting those AMITers is somewhat a pity. (I really did!) Meanwhile, I connect the good atmosphere, anticipation and vibe of any MK show with a really nice bunch of people that I have met now a couple of times. Proud to be an AMITer? Anytime! :thumbsup (And we SHOULD wear T-shirts next time... ;D )

Wow, I was adding up and I have seen MK 17 times in total, so 17 in one tour is good going!

it's super awesome that you could do something like this !!!!! :thumbsup :clap I admire your courage and dedication to MK. If I were single and no kids to take care of, I could see myself do crazy things like yourself, Isacc, Jereon, and even herlock ;D ;D ;D
Maybe, you should come across the pond and catch more of Mk in the USA. :)

Spanish fans are crazy. And Spanish shows always have great atmospheres. I am still feeling happy to know some of them back in 2001 when Fabi set up his KnopflerTK Hub online. Fran, Julio B., Jose B., Octavio M.A., Ignasi B., Esteban, and more share "I have it, you have it" spirit to help me gather bootleg recordings one by one. They are really nice people.
And your contributions to the live setlist through this tour are much appreciated! Maybe you could cover some US shows later this year. ;)

Not yet. I nearly made it this time to see MK in Germany, but gave up the plan in the last minute. :'( I live in Beijing, China. Work is busy and long-distance travel is almost impossible for me.

I remember how excited she was when I bid farewell after the 28th May show at the RAH that ferries had been altered etc!!
