I have tried it several times (and only raising a photo) and it does not leave me for the weight of the photo. If there is some real(royal) interested , please to contact by e-mail and we would agree already in price, delivery, etc. Thanks. . I write again the announcement(advertisement) since I deleted for error:
Hello, I sell this collector's authentic jewel. It is the first LP of the group, self tittled Dire Straits, signed by the brothers Knopfler, Illsley and Whithers, authenticated by certificate. I bought it to a collector of London. According to the seller, signs them they were obtained in a WBCN radio state in september 1979 (on the USA tour of 'Communique').
Both the front and the signatures and the disc are in very well state. It is a question of objects extremely difficult of finding, signed by the charter members of the band. You can verify it in Internet. If it is interesting to someone really to get in touch by e-mail. I ask for 600

Now yes..

Another..

The last..

Just out of curiosity, how does the authenticy thing work,I mean, it is not like mark hands you one of "those" right?
-
I don't know what you refer friend. I don't understand you. The signatures are authentic 100 % and the announcement(advertisement) is serious.

Another..
i refer to this. How does this work. It is not like mark himself said "I hereby solemnly swear that this is my signature" and then made the authenticity piece of paper for it.

Good question pottel. And I don't get what is not to understand about that question. How can you, Lovemk be so sure that it is 100%?
(I might add that this whole thing seems a little bit smelly to me, turning up at this forum just to sell a totally overpriced fan item... I guess ebay would be a better place for it.. just personal opinion, therefore in brackets.)

Hello.. If you are fans of Mark or DS and you have already seen its signatures. it is seen that they are authentic, also there is an authenticity certificate. And I know where and when it was signed, but does not little matter to you are interested in, perhaps it is some envy to detect seems to me? Anyway it does not matter because I have just sold the LP for more than 400
-
No "envy" LoveMK - the Certificate 'looks' like something anyone with a Microsoft program could print out. I think pottels question is, What is the certificates history ?
Thanks for the great photos. :)

To buy a signed album, such as this one, would mean absolutely nothing to me, because it is the actual signing that matters. To be there whilst the band signed the album and all the memories that are associated with the event would be priceless! ;)

Just came back from the attic and found an old Dire Straits Interview picture disc from 1984... it is 100 % authentic (because it's from my attic). 100 bucks anyone? It is vinyl and shipping would be free. Blimey, where's that old first single sleeve from Sultans of Swing... had it somewhere... would make another 50 quid I 'm sure..
Yes, let's close this topic now you have your money. Thanks a lot.

This is something typically American. there are people whose job is to authenticate the signatures: usually they are experts but of course there may be errors or false certifications. For trusting is important to know the credibility of the company that issues the certificate (sometimes it comes to items that are worth millions).
In our case, even beyond the certificate, the signatures appear authentic. If anything, how many people are interested in overpay a signature of Mark and band? I really don't care, but there are people willing to pay high figures for an autograph.
Finally, beyond the authenticity of the item on sale, I think the OP has not made his debut here on the forum with the desirable politeness and respect for others

Yes I also had liked to be there with the band while they were signing it and to speak with them.. etc, but I have to be content to buy this big memory (or to sell it as now). A thing as this one for a fan , I believe that it is very valuable and many fans think it and look for it or buy it., althought also them there is that they do not give him value, everything is respectable.
With regard to since there work the signatures that devote themselves to express(emit) certificates. I not do not even have because to know it, only that the article(item) either consent with the certificate and that also I personally verified with the company that it expresses(emits) the certificate the information relative to the LP and to the seller who I buyed this 15 years ago, and they agree. I contact with Mr. who signs the certificed. I believe that it is necessary to go carefully, if, but also there are the very good people and honest, and I it am. You forgive if I do not appreciate well the meaning about what you speak, since I am not English. I would feel bad of there are insinuations against my honesty.
-
There have been no insinuations at all, I was just wondering. Anyways, what is your language? Just post your reply In your own language, instead of using google translate, I think that would be easier. Your replies are a bit difficult to read. No offense.
-
Again, no insinuation against you lovemk, but mk's signature doesn't look right to me... and I have watched him sign stuff for me 5 times, so I know what I am talking about.
