World class percussionist Ray Cooper is 71 today. If you don't recognise the name then he is the one who turned up at every big charity event with Mark, EC, EJ etc during the 80s/90s. The one with the bald head and sunglasses. He was, or maybe still is, a long time collaborator with Elton John. I always loved his enthusiasm!

A genius, nobody plays tambourine like him.
He toured a lot with Elton John, just the two of them, piano, voice and percussion, truly awesome.
