:smack Had a question from a YT fan regarding the guitar Mark is using during this playback performance from 1990.
The question was:- "Is Mark playing an Eric Clapton strat here?"

That's his Schecter Strat (the one played e.g. in Alchemy on Sultans or on Local Hero live until 1996). I'm sure because it has only two knobs, mini toggle switches instead of the Fender five-way-switch and no dots on the neck.

funny thing is that PF is "playing" the box (which has acoustic sound, like on YAYF) to mim the pedal steel sound.

I just watched it without sound (TV is on), but it's your own sweet way right ? (I recognize it by reading on lips mooves)
