Title: Anyone in Brazil?
Post by: twm on October 14, 2013, 05:34:00 PM
If anyone reading this is based in Brazil, pleased look in the GENERAL DISCUSSION section under the same topic heading ("Anyone in Brazil"). I'm looking for a little help over a non-MK matter.

If anyone here is based in Brazil, I'm looking for a copy of "Rolling Stone - Edicao Especial de Colecionador - Bob Dylan". This is a 100-page publication that came out last month, at around US$ 25.00 (approximately,

Hi
Just got back from the newsstand close to my work and they didn't have any copy. I'll try tomorrow morning in a bigger store and I'll tell if i got lucky.

Thanks for trying, nababo. I hope you get lucky tomorrow.

Incidentally, for those who may find my request a little odd, I have just ordered a Motorhead special for a friend in Japan. I have no interest whatsoever in Motorhead but the supplier doesn't have a licence to sell it in Japan and I'm very happy to help out a friend.

Hi, twm

Haven't arrived on Brasilia (my city) stores yet, despite it's already been published. I'll keep waiting till it comes out, ok? Oh, and by the release note, I think it's cheaper than you thought. It's R$ 24,90, which is less than U$ 12.

Update on your order  8) 8) 8)
Well, I couldn't find it yet. I placed an "informal order" with my neighboor newsstand and the guy said that in 10-15 days is supposed to arrive.

I also posted a message on the page of Rolling Stone here in Brasil and'm waiting for the answer.

And tonight (it's 2p.m. here now) I'm going to the biggest Cultura store (a Fnac-like) here in Brasilia to see if they recept some copy of the magazine.

I didn't give up, and I won't. Just keeping you in pace.

Best regards.

Hi

Just bought it on-line from the publishers. It will take some days to the shipment to arrive in Brasilia - gladly no costs, though -, and then I'll post it right after to you.

You thought you would be easier, don't you?

In the contrary, I was using irony in the good way. It was really nice to see two MK fans helping each other being so far from each other, and specially having nothing to do with MK. There still good in human kind.

Oh, yes, you are right, I always felt this good mood here on the forum. Once I wrote that many of us feel as we belong to some kind of family, linked by a common passion. Even those who don't know each other, which is the majority, are very kind and helpful. You, jbaent, indeed, is an example: you are always contributing on the threads, aiming to solve doubts in the forum, answering and suggesting things other people don't know about the music/life of MK, and are also an enthusiast of personal meetings around the gigs.

Cool that my candango friend got that sorted:-)

Yeah, I've been a bit absent, LE. Studying too much! And a little disappointed in Mark as well... How are you keeping? Hope everything is well!
