Title: Vintage Guitar Interview
Post by: dustyvalentino on December 26, 2013, 09:02:38 PM
Vintage Guitar is for my moneyt the best guitar mag in the world and the only magazine that I subscribe to.

So I was pleased to download my digital edition of the February 2014 issue yesterday and find a new interview with MK.

Obviously I would recommend buying a copy yourself (or get a digital subscriuption, it is cheap!), but it is difficult to find outside the US, so here it is. :)

Thanks Dusty  :thumbsup

Strange that the 54 strat was used on I used to could... :hmm

ok for the car was the one,

and for the fish and the bird...not sure  :think

I still think that infos given on such articles are not always accurate.
There are several examples that were wrong in the past

Funny that he says he loves using the '54 Strat with a pick and the tremolo arm and yet he never uses that guitar on stage any more.  To me he never looks comfortable playing that way anyway.  Recent versions of OS-L, for example have made me feel very uneasy!

I never know that Paul Kennerley gived MK not only 1954 Strat, but 1935 Martin D-18, too.
Seems like he is very, very, very close friend of Mark. These toys are not cheap ones.

Do you mean Strat or Martin? I read story about 54 strat two or three times, all the time Paul was mentioned.

And here in interview we have 'present from the same friend'. We have to ask Mark himself xD

Paul Kennerley is on every MK solo cd credits, and I never knew why...
