I love "how long".

What do you mean by underestimated? Not getting to number 1? Then the choice is large  ;)

I think "Old Pigweed" is very underestimated!   Another one is "Everybody Pays".  I would really love to hear these played live.  :)

Although many people don't like "True Love Will Never Fade" I still like that one. I don't know why, but it gives me a special feeling!

Also The Long Highway, Claim to Fame and Lily of The West are great songs! .....I LOVE them! :P

Agree with Dannyjun "Hand in Hand,"News", "where do you think you are going", "planet of new Orlean",
"Ride across the river"  or how about "Behind with the rent", "a place we used to live"?  Fieneke, "true love never fades" is OK to me.

I like also "Where Do You Think You're Going" and "Nobody's Got The Gun".

A while ago I heard the song of Mark with Emmylou Harris called "Lost On The River"...........ooohhhh that is a great one too, although I don't know where that song comes from. Does one of you know? ::)

Except the ones I already mentioned, the best songs for me are also still "I'm The Fool" and "Shangri-La" :P

Welcome to the forum LEPI!  I hope you have a great time reading and posting here! ;)

Stefan, I don't know where it came from. The song was on an fan's audio copy CD with many other beautiful songs! ............I don't remember the name at this moment. Camerado, Claim To Fame and Kingdome Come were on the CD too! I got the CD from a fan/friend!  ;D

When I am in a wonderful mood and want Mark to whisper nice things to me in the car while I drive at work, then just like Superval, I LOVE "Six Blade Knife too, but also My Parties and Southbound Again!"  :P

Btw did I already mention "Lily of the West?"  .......You all know the movie Braveheart of Mel Gibson? Well when I listen to Mark singing about Lily, then I can imagine him standing there standing somewhere in the wildernes in clothes like Braveheart! Yup, there is no problem, he can be my private Highlander!!!  ;D :P

Uuhhhhh I first need to clean the keyboard now people, there is too much drool!  ;D

Sweetsurrender, I don't know where you can find "Lily of the West". I got it on a CD of one of the fans! If you want I can sent a copy of that CD! In that case, please PM me!

Hey SamGolden, of course we don't laugh, please don't worry! We are a nice group of people and many of us became friends. We admire Mark for his music and everybody is welcome to the "Knopfler" family!  ;D

I like "My Parties"  too!  ;)
