Title: Paco De Lucia R.I.P.
Post by: rudiger on February 26, 2014, 10:55:45 AM
Shocking news! He was one of my favorite guitar players.

"World-renowned Spanish guitarist Paco de Lucia has died aged 66 in Mexico, reportedly of a heart attack while playing with his children on a beach"

RIP. Friday night in San Francisco is one of my favourite albums. After three years of learning the guitar my teacher wanted me to play the Concierto de Aranjuez! After listening to a record of Paco de Lucias playing i cancelled this project due to my lack of musical talent. A sad day for guitar lovers!

He was a great one. I was lucky to see him together with Al DiMeola 3 years ago.
Performing Mediterranean Sunset together.
2 of the best together sharing one stage.
Now he will play with Jeff Healey,SRV and Gary Moore.

RIP Paco...

This seems to be pretty macabre to be honest. But each to his own. Enjoy life, every second of it, it will never come back. Simple but true.
