It seems that Dire Straits still exists as a company. MK served also as a director for Singsound Ltd and Zenacom Ltd. Anyone heard of these companies before?

All the companies have pretty much the same adress, kinda strange.
I believe Mark has something to do with Range Rover (not only endorsement).

Laughed at co-workers section: JOHN EDWARD ILLSLEY

The address belongs to Harris&Trotter, MK's accountant.

Interesting.

Actually "DIRE STRAITS LIMITED" only exist under that name since 2009-06-08 as it was called TUXOBOND LIMITED before.
I don't remember when, where and what about but I knew that name TUXOBOND, created on 1977.10.20

Being run by Mark John and infamous Ed until 1998, it looks like it is the original business that gave Dire Straits a legal existence as a recording band.

Sister company, Dire Straits Overseas Limited is run by the same people and exist since 1978.11.14.

I remember hearing first of it when the 1992 Nimes concert was broadcasted live on TV.
The copyright figuring on the end credits mention them.
Again for the official video, On The Night, they are credited as copyright owner.

I guess it has to do with accounting, so not that very interesting. But does this have anything to do with copyrights and the story David said about cutting him off?

I guess when the band started they ware all 4 (or 5 if you count Ed) equally in the DS company. But those who left may have lost their seat
