Yes, it was a phantastic night, I was there. It was raining cats and dogs heavily during the complete show (you can hear Mark wondering "is it still raining?" around I'm The Fool)  that Saturday and it's  a beautiful round venue sorrounded by hedges. The next day, there was another show and I spontaneously decided to go - I bought a ticket from a scalper while Darling Pretty started. While being pretty close to the front at the first night, I stood back next to the sounddesk and had a phantastic view - a warm sunny evening (show started at 19:30) totally different to the first one. Mark played a Night in Summer Long Ago at the second night. And I knew I would hear that new song again, Long Highway, I tried to remember as many words as possible...  Awesome days.

There are many bootlegs with this show recording, most of them using the complete ndr2 broadcast.

Great show.

Of the three you mention I only like TR;  too much distortion on both The Bug and GH on the '96 versions which is so "un-Mark!"

For GH Iike the clean intro from ANIL but when the drum part come in, the Hamburg distorded guitar version is a killer to my ears.

I like the distorted tone both on GH and the Bug

remember, Going home had a distorted tone on the studio version, it's only after Alchemy that the clean tone became the "usual" sound for this track, but at the origin, the solo was meant to be played with saturation, while the intro was played on acoustic.

Apart from 96, Marks has always choosen to play the whole song with the tone that he needed for the intro, but a distortion stompbox could have solved the problem : clean tone for the intro, and drived tone for the "rock" part...

but Mark has never been a stompboxes player...( apart in 2005 with Boom like that)...like Gilmour

Casting my mind back (way back) you're right (of course)!  I don't think it was ever quite to the same amount as it was on the '96 tour though.
