funny is that the rhtyhm part sounds like sultans..

no one version can't beat Hendrix's one imho

Yeah, i "knopflerized" it a bit.....its a lot of hard work doing this stuff so i thank you for taking time to listen. Anyway, did u like it?

yes I like it, but I am so found of the Hendrix version that it's difficult to me to get into another version, how good it can be

I know the work it is to record many tracks, doing several takes, finding the tone you want, mixing it all, etc...
and it sounds well done.
so keep up your good work and share your (future) other recordings with us  :thumbsup

Oh I reckon you can - U2 'Rattle and Hum' - 1988 (My very first cd incidentally)
