I also have trouble to understand the words from the way Steve is singing at the Snape gig... So some real UK citizen has to do it!

Post by: dmg on June 20, 2014, 11:25:34 PM: Some of the Hillbillies lyrics vary from the originals, especially the older numbers. Remember some of the songs date back to the 20s and have been severely Hillbillied! If I remember, the original Blind Blake song Rope Stretching has an extra verse and musically is completely different.

There is a spotify playlist with all the original songs that the NHB sung live, and who did it (jbaent?) said that some of them were tricky, like Rainy Day, as there are so many songs titled like that.
