Title: Tunnel of Love

Apparently, a couple of nights ago on North-East Tonight there was an article about TOL!  Here is a clip from youtube!

I disagree, however, with the view of the "Pop Historian" that "as a guitar-picker, Mark Knopfler is only happy in Nashville".   I don't think he is up-to-date with Mark and his music at the present time.

Could be, Maarten.  He wore a similar shirt when I saw him in Leeds 1993 and his hair was very similar!  :)  It isn't the T&C though.

Just had another look and I'm pretty certain it is Newcastle City Hall, so probably it was the concert following the Leeds concert in aid of Swan Hunter Shipyard.  I think a lot of us have the audio recording, which was brilliant!

Thanks for that lovely bit of YouTube.  Interesting and very enjoyable.  Spanish City was a lot like Coney Island in NY.  Both are pretty much just memories now.
