Hey everybody -- thank you so much for remembering my birthday. That is very kind of all of you and very much appreciated.

It was a nice day. I rode my horse a little in rather nice mid-January weather, and I went to a restaurant for dinner.

I'm always a wee bit late with birthday wishes, living out here on the west coast.   What a beautiful way to spend a birthday-or any other day--on the back of a horse!   Best wishes, knopfling for many more happy birthdays! :)

Thank you Fieneke and IrisRose.
Iris, one of my 2 cats looks a lot like the one in your avatar, though he doesn't have as much white. It's more cream color.
I do spend a lot of time riding my horse in the mountains 6 blocks from where I live, almost on the Left Coast, just north of Salt Lake City.
