Next May Brendan will do a small tour in Belgium and Holland together with Belgium's (and beyond) best singer-songwriter Bruno Deneckere.
The first 6 tourdates will be announced on www.brendancroker.com tonight.
More dates to be announced soon.
Cheers,
Waldo

Additional dates are now on www.brendancroker.com
Hope to see you at one of these gigs!

Boo, no UK dates.
Waldo, can you get me a support slot if he does play any Scottish gigs? I'll do it for free.
(Serious request, I have supported some respected artists before for example Midge Ure, Duke Special and Frank Turner, got offered Fish too but had a wedding. :) )

No UK dates on a Belgium (and a bit Holland, as we'll stumble a few miles across the border once) tour indeed, very strange indeed ;D
But if this will be succesful, why couldn't we do it in other countries....
It always turns out to be too expensive to move the whole "circus" to another country for just one gig, but a few in a row and there we go.

Oh heavy sigh, I don't suppose there is a chance of Brendan coming to California?????
Ah, I thought not. Oh well. Maybe we could go to Belgium. . . . .

Brendan, Bruno, Steve etc.etc. they can come to everywhere in the world as long as they have the opportunity to play there and the expenses + wages are paid. It's as simple as that.... in theory. But someone has to organise it and make sure the funds are there.
Btw, don't expect the wages to be thousands of euros!!
But Marie, you are more than welcome in Belgium! :D

Waldo

Dusty, I would really like to hear your music. Any youtube uploads? :)

I'm glad you asked. :)
I usually play acoustic with a very talented singer/songwriter called Emma Forman.
You can hear some of our stuff together here:

There is also one tune up on youtube from a few years ago featuring our (now defunct) band:

Wow, dusty, I really enjoyed that! Emma has a lovely voice - did she write that song? I am very impressed with the guitar solo too! Did I hear a few MK-style twiddly bits? No boot/ass-licking either! ;D
-
Aw, shucks, thanks Val, as MK would say "You're very sweet." :)
Emma writes most of the songs but I actually wrote that one. I first wrote and recorded it back in 96, and yes, I was definitely trying to ape MK's Golden Heart Les Paul style, but I couldn't afford a Les Paul back then, ha ha! The twiddly bit is a Sultans knock off, and about as complicated as my playing gets.
In fact I wrote and recorded it for a young ladyfriend I was seeing at the time. I posted it off to her thinking she'd be thrilled, but the first thing she did after she'd received it was dump me! I suppose that should have told me something...

In that case I think we should hear more of your song-writing, I think you're hiding your light under a bushel, or something like that. I could be your number one fan! ;D
