But the four walls of Newcastle BAR Fusion hold a special place in rock history.
Dire Straits legend Mark Knopfler has revealed the bar was once the music shop where he picked up his first guitar.
And the shop manager who handed the instrument over had some sage advice for the would-be megastar.
