hi all,
as our ticket thread has given me so much feedback, i would like to start the next part of our project here.
besides the tickets we are looking for, s owe can add them to the respective concert pages of our to be Knopfler database, we had also always envisioned fans to be able to add pictures to the page.
so e.g. if you went to a show in 1983 in Wellington, New zeeland, and you still have some cool snapshots, do send them in (my address:pottel@ish.de)
either send your best high quality photo, or multiple lower quality pics.
does anyone know of a standard minimum you need to make it "interesting on a website??) and of a maximum? (loading the page and stuff)
these pics, or the best if i get many pics for the same show, will then be place alongside the ticketstubs, setlist, comments and personal experiences....(we will get to that one later :-))

Great idea! I have a few pics but the quality, well.... is not up to what some of you guys can do. Are these interesting to?
I have pics of paris 92, copenhagen 06 and 08 (and 05 but I was so far from the stage it's hardly of any interest)

then send me at least the "best" of each of those shows.
better to have one pic as no pic is my motto...

Copying and pasting here. Blurry pics, the photographer said they are "something to look at". (Personally, all I could think about is the sick tape that could have been made right in front of those ground level arrays with some omnis!)

There are links from there sites so you can contact them if you want.
If you want bigger pictures from the ones at my site let me know. You can credit me if you want.

Maarten, if you want you can have all pics I have! But do you want that???
There are a lot, some good some bad. All sorted in maps, so I can burn them on a DVD and you can choose what you like. I am not sure what you are looking for. The digital pics are from the last couple of tours only. I didn't do pics before, because I never took the time to sort them out after printing.

thanks jeroen, nice pics, but what i miss there is the exact date of every picture, so they can later be added to the right show date in our database.
can you add that info?

as mentioned, we need pics for every possible night mark performed. so i need your (your own opinion) best pics for every night, and for this 2 or 3 will more then do (per night)
and in the end we will sort out the best pics out of all the ones we got and post those on the database.

also, your pic of the Vestlandhallen in Bergen reminded me of antoher cool feature, as you can also see on the local hero site. for every venue we need a picture people...it all belongs to the description of every show...
