As of now a 2017 tour doesn't seem likely since MK hasn't returned to BG yet. So I think a 2018 tour is more likely. But that is of course an eternity away from now.

Since I'm sooo longing for another MK tour I would like to hear your opinions about when it would be realistic to expect it.

I´m dreaming of the next tour as well :) Do we know that he isn't at BG these days? After the last tour I thought that 2016 would be a recording year, meaning a new tour in 2017. I will hold on to that thought for some time :)

Time flies! ;D I really enjoyed my couple of days at Hay. It was a wonderful atmosphere and lovely to see MK and his family walking around amongst the general public.

By the way, last weekend MK was in Madrid. The waiter of a restaurant in Aranjuez, a beautiful city where I lived for four years, uploaded to their instagram a picture with MK.

It was In January Guy stated that:
"Mark has been enjoying a period of well deserved inactivity"
So i guess that period was over allready back then. Who knows what he has been doing since...

I think GF will be MK's coproducer for the next album as well. So my assumption is that as long as GF has not finished his third album it is hard to imagine that preproduction for MK's next album has already started. Of course I would be delighted to be proven wrong!

But I think this is very unlikely that´s too fast as we know that, previously to record the band, MK spends about two months working alone with Guy before the band comes to London.
Unless MK and Guy start working together before autumm, and the band comes between september and december.
My guess is that if he does as with previous records, he starts working in autumm with Guy, and extends the works in january, february 2017 with the band, release the record september 2017 and tours april 2018.
So, my bet is, new record in 2017, new tour in 2018.

I agree. Looking back previous years Guy is always secretive and never gives anything away. He is quite right too and is better not to say anything until is is a sure fire certainty. We probably won't know until it has already happened!

As far as we know, Altamira´s soundtrack is just instrumental so I guess that it was a joke by ds1984, suggesting that MK in acoustic format with few overdubs would make it faster to release this year and tour next ;D
