Hi :)
Does anyone know if MK and his management has ever discussed releasing old recordings at all? Springsteen and a lot of other artist do. I know they say they are only looking forward.
Who has the rights to these recordings? Didnt they film a couple of concerts too? Like Madrid in 2001..
Just wondering...
:hmm

I seem to recall at the time that Glasgow, Newcastle and Bilbao shows were recorded (audio only) for possible mixing in the Madrid 2001 release. It was a big deal and there was no real excuse I can think of for not releasing it. Any mistakes could easily have been smoothed over by an edit from one of these gigs. The excuse Guy gave was that the audience were too loud or something, wasn't it?

mark is not interested in the past.

just look at bob dylan who just sold his entire Archive, EVERYTHING, not just Songs, to a University, i am pretty sure Mark is as exact when it Comes down to archiving.

I guess he doesn't want to have anything released from the past. But how I would love to have a box of oldies goldies...

I remember having read on MKNews that some NHB shows were recorded for an official live album (I don' t remember what year it was : 97, 98 or 99). And it's been cancelled (for an strange reason of illegal downloading problem ???)
