Guys i dont know the difference sbout this two places?
-
I´ve searched in google but i want a more especific explanation
-
Use google.. It's a bit annoying to ask questions on this forum which are not related to MK in any interesting way. "I want this and I want that.."

A stadium is usually a big fat outdoor `stadium` like where you watched the world cup final or an olympic stadium. An arena implies a smaller indoor kind of thing, but still these descriptions can vary enormously depending on the venue.
You sound like you`ve just discovered Dire Straits and are digging up all the info you can find. I remember that feeling, and indeed when I first joined AMIT many years ago it was simply to ask `why isn't Alchemy on dvd`? I did`t get much of a response because most long term MK fans knew already that asking these things is futile and tiresome to discuss again and again... but keep up your love of the Knop and enjoy :)

now now mr. Hola? this is general discussion. so he can ask all he wants.
@Terry: Stadium: mostly refers to the old wembley stadium that would seat something like 80.000 sitting (see mandela concert) and the Arena is an indoor complex, more like (just guessing here, but it can be found on...google) 12000 to 18000. i am assuming (again, too lazy to google) that they are located close to each other

I really like your post, Fletch, because I remember that feeling very well too. I had been reading MK News Forum, for many years, but not as a member, because I didn't have my own computer and I was sharing my husband's, which wasn't ideal as you can imagine.
Then we went to the 2006 MK/Emmylou concert in Manchester and just wished I could relive the whole thing. I read on the forum that there was an audience video circulating and a very kind member of the forum offered to send a copy to those who were interested. Even though I wasn't a member I contacted him and he sent me a copy. I realized then that I had to have my own computer and become a member - something that I have never regretted, because my interest in DS/MK just grew and grew and is still growing to this day. So, in a way, it was because of this kind person, that I'm here! Thanks Dusty! :)
Like Terry82, I had a long shopping list and I joined the 'tree list' - remember that? When someone sent a copy of a video, you then sent two or more copies to other people who were interested. This was fine, but then I kept reading about this other wonderful thing called 'Dime'. I hadn't a clue what that was all about, but eventually the penny dropped and I found 'Dime-a-Dozen, which really made the 'tree' obsolete.
Now my original shopping list is complete, but it was just the tip of the iceberg and I'm still collecting....... :)

I'm sorry. You're right. Fletch is right too, when things seem so normal to one, it can be completely new to someone else. Reminds me of myself too now. So, excuse!

Terry82 if you read this, it`s really cool - because there`s heaps of extra stuff out there and kind members of AMIT are glad to help out with, but of course it takes a lot of time and work to respond to.
We have all been `in the dark` as far as MK or DS knowledge goes at one time or another and I think there are many people willing to help keen fans.
Love hearing your story Superval, the whole "sharing the computer" sure sounds historic now :)

this gives me an idea.
why not send a HD-tree? the next one adds whatever is not yet on the HD, takes what he is missing and forwards to the next in the tree, and so on, and so on??
and even if the tree gets lost somewhere, the last one to copy it will always have a safety copy?

Ha, that was me was it? Back in the day I remember making loads and loads of copies of stuff and sending them out all over the world. Good times.
The only time I got slightly annoyed was when someone asked me to make 5 copies of Shangri Lille so he could give them out as Christmas presents!

I have a tiny little history with the Wembley Stadium that may be amusing to some. First time I went to London, back in 2000, I tried to reach as many places related to DS as possible. So I went to the Stadium as well. At the time, I was a football jersey collector as well, and happend to be wearing a Danmark official shirt. In front of the legendary towin towers, I was approached by a... Danish television crew. They started to talk to me in his language, which I far from understand. Then they managed to ask questions in English, which I could understand a little better. They were doing an article about the demolition of the old place, but were amused by a Brazilian guy be wering a Danish t-shirt.
