As I peruse the new forum, I'm amazed at how it's developing-as we speak! I like it!
New opening page, easier navigation, more info (regarding who's on, who's posting, who's who). ;D
Well done!

I love this forum. It's got a GREAT feel about it.
Congrats to all who have been involved in it's set up.
May it go from strength to strength. :)

8) 8)Thanks for the positive feed-back gbobmi and BBB. We are still in our infancy, yet things are evolving all the time. Dan has done such a great job in a short time, in setting the thing in motion. The forum Stats section and the ability to read all recent posts (even before you log in) are great features and as we proceed I'm sure others will appear also. Your Karma's have both just increased by one. ;) :D

Uuuhhhh what can I say? ::) I would like to write a message telling, just like Gayle and Nigel, that I have seen the changes at this forum and also love it like it is now. It is easy to read, the letters are not too small as they were the first day, AND most important, I don't have to be "afraid" that my messages will be deleted because I respond to a personal message of friends or say something that hasn't to do with MK! ;)
Having said that and reading the last sentence written by Shangri la, there is a risk that people think I MIGHT look like a bootlicker to get an extra karma :o, but I hope my friends know me well enough to know that I am not that kind of person! ;D

Fieneke - You have just raised a point that has bothered me about Karma. I don't think I agree with them at all. It could be a bit inhibiting for those who care about their Karma points! I don't know how the rest of you feel, but people don't necessarily agree with eachother all the time. Just a thought! ;) BTW Fieneke, I know you are not a bootlicker, just a very nice person. Oh, and I'm not looking for an "exalt"! ;)

Hey Val, I see the karma thing as a funny game! Don't we all like playing board games like "mens erger je niet" I think it is called "Ludo" in English! Or play card and laugh when you win, but also continue when you loose and loose etc? ;D
Karma is the same, if I get one it makes me smile, but when I loose one (didn't happen all those years), I would smile too, because at least one person read my message! ;D

Hhhhmmm I think I need to give a few exalts away...........of course for the people who started this forum and edit it and then some friends of course too .............haha lucky the exalts are for free! ;D

Thanks Fieneke, I hadn't thought of it as a game of Ludo, but here's a karma anyway, even though I'm not totally in agreement with them! ;D
Sounds more like Snakes and Ladders to me! ;)
-
THANK YOU Val! :-* ........I just gave a lot karma's away for the friends that started and edit this forum! .............Ooohhh I feel like Santa Claus! ;D

i now also posted the news about the new forum on the official forum. wonder if it will stay there. i did explicitly mention this is a fan forum and in no way official.
-
Hey Fieneke!! I jvst gave yov more karma!!!! ;D
-
I'm pretty much sure it will stay there Pottel.
-
I don't have any karma and don't know how to get it, so it doesn't really make a difference to me . . .
-
You just got some more, knopfling!!! ;)

I haven't been over to the 'other' forum for ages. Is it anywhere near as active as this one? It seems in the last couple of weeks this forum has really picked up pace :)
-
The other forum is pretty quiet these days. It seems that fooling, discussing and drooling :P around here is fun!
-
And...I don't feel paranoid about posting here. I always feel like someone's looking over my shoulder in the "other forum". It has been pretty dead over there for quite a long time-especially considering the usual activity which occurs during a tour...
IMHO, the "fun" on the "other forum" was beaten out of us... :(
-
I find the other forum just plain ugly too. This one is much nicer to read 8)

Literally and figuratively, Ian.... 8)

Two things, which I feel comfortable asking about on this thread since it seems pretty open to interpretation:
Gayle, when I see the "arse" on the bottom of your post, it takes me back to the time when Johnny Fever finally got to say "booger" on the air in WKRP! And Dusty, maybe this should be in the quiz: When and where did MK say "You can't polish a doo doo"?
-
WKRP in Cinncinnati--what a great program. Almost as great as Cheers. I do miss them.
