Title: Mark an actor??

I really didn't know about that... but it seems that in 1966 young MK played Arthur Miller in a production of Eugene O'Neill's 'Ah Wilderness'.
If you know more about that i would love to read !!!

Ah Wilderness! has been a very popular play with performances in many countries around the globe. The above images are from a performance programme in the sixties in England. One interesting point to note is the name of the actor? playing Arthur Miller (McGinley). It is none other than Mark Knopfler (aged only 16), one of the most famous guitarists in Rock music history. Nice Find Nelly. Wonder how different his life might have panned out had there been any acting talent scouts at the performances?

i don't remember he spoke about that in Hay.... sigh
I really need to spend a year or more in UK to undersand english sopken...

I think you were still overwhelmed by the excitement of meeting me at that point, must have been difficult to concentrate on what MK was saying.  ;)
