I really didn't know about that... but it seems that in 1966 young MK played Arthur Miller in a production of Eugene O'Neill's 'Ah Wilderness'.
If you know more about that i would love to read !!!

Ah Wilderness! has been a very popular play with performances in many countries around the globe. The above images are from a performance programme in the sixties in England. One interesting point to note is the name of the actor? playing Arthur Miller (McGinley). It is none other than Mark Knopfler (aged only 16), one of the most famous guitarists in Rock music history.
