Title: Notting Hill Soundtrack / Metroland
Post by: Dutchessy on December 14, 2016, 08:12:44 PM
Good evening,

My wife was just watching the movie Notting Hill and she thought MK was playing in it. She let me hear it and i agreed that it indeed sounds like MK, but i was sure it wasn't, otherwise i would have known ;D. After some research i found the song from Trevor Jones, on guitar Clem Clempson (first 1.20):

The Notting Hill movie is from 1999.

It reminds me of She's Gone from MK from his Metroland soundtrack just 1 year before (1998) (especially seconds 0.43-0.50)

Coincidence?  ;) Or am i the only one hearing the similarity?

They are quite similar, I had noticed it long ago, I'm happy to know I'm not the only one...

Yeah, I knew about that, but it baffles me. Don't you think there's enough coincidences?

The movie is called NOTTING HILL. Much of the filming took place on PORTOBELLO Road. Also a guy named Dylan is in the movie.

And the music is so MK. Maybe there's some kind of conspiracy going on :lol

And Basing Street Studios (Sarm Studios later), and Damage Management used to be in Notting Hill, very close to the places where the film was shot...
