Intentionally or not, John Lee Hancock obviously failed to use MK's remarkable "Boom Like That" in his new film "The Founder" as a soundtrack. So let's hope that this movie generates a late boost to such a great song. Great in tune, and even greater in lyrics.

Incredible. It seems to have been written for the film.

Actually it was MK's "Boom, Like That" that inspired the film itself...

Strange the song it's not in the film then...

Beat me to it! It is indeed strange that the very song that gave him the inspiration doesn't feature. Surely a credit to Mark will be made though.

I'm amazed that BLT wasn't used for the film! Apparently someone called Carter Burwell wrote the score for the film, but BLT would have been perfect for the title music. Maybe MK didn't give his permission for it to be used, or perhaps it was better if Carter Burwell was the sole composer. :think

This film's title was inspired by the song "I'm in the Mood for Love" by Bryan Ferry, but the song wasn't used in the film :lol

Perhaps Burwell could send Mark an e-mail and get him to do a collaboration on one of the tunes! :lol

Art Inspires art. I guess MK can very well live with not being mentioned. He himself used a book to get inspired and took almost all the lyrics from Kroc quotations. What a great track is Boom, like that! It swings... I loved the live versions from 2005. My favourite is from Lyon 2005.

I wish BLT would return to the setlist, Milano 2005 is also killer. I always thought the end of the 'main setlist' of the 2005 tour was really powerful, BLT, SAN and then TR, awesome!

2005 was very great list set. But WOL and SOS play crazy slow ...
