Don't know, but after hearing it for the first time in approx. 15 years or so it struck me that the song All The Roadrunning sounds pretty similar to this..

Right, that was what I always thought. ATRR is Mark's version of it. I think Mark wrote several songs that 'absorb the spirit' of particular songs by other artists ... don't get me wrong, I am not criticizing this but see it as something normal in songwriting ... even if you try to find totally new melodies you might end with something not that new that came out of your sub-conciousness ... like the bonny banks thing in What it is

Yes it does sound very much like ATRR. I must admit that I never noticed before but it's so obvious now you mention it LE.
