FIRST 2010 DATES ANNOUNCED
Mark's new album Get Lucky will be released this September, followed by a tour beginning in the spring of 2010. The first confirmed set of dates are set to take place at the Royal Albert Hall from the 30th of May until the 4th of June, 2010. MarkKnopfler.com will be offering a Best Seats presale to our members for all six of these dates, starting at noon GMT on June 26, 2009. Be sure to sign into your account just before the start of the sale, as tickets will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note there will be a strict limit of two (2) tickets per order for this presale.
More 2010 Get Lucky tour dates will be announced later this year, so stay tuned. We also still have general admission (standing) tickets available for the Prince's Trust charity show in September.
Until next time,
The MarkKnopfler.com Team

Nothing at all Love Expesso ,The great thing is that the other dates will take place during summer so I am free from school by that time and I hope MK will come down south of Europe again during this tour.
-
that's unfair i'm not home for 3 days with no interet acces i hope someone could help me in there :D
-
Time to drop some hints to my missus. That gig at the RAH is on my Birthday!!!!!! Just a short trip away..... (dream, dream, dream)
-
That is ridiculous early, almost a year in advance?? ??? And the 'salami' slicing again... what about the other tour dates? :-\
-
It is a bit concerning that these could be the only dates....you either -
A) - Buy a ticket thinking its the only UK date
B) - Hold out thinking there are other dates annouced....but there may not be.....
What a dilemma..... >:(
-
Thats a bit of a pain in the a**e really,I know that I personally have to plan something months in advance but thats nearly a year down the line.
I was hoping that I might plan the summer hols next year around the tour as the first leg was in the US & I could take in a few gigs in the UK once the kids got off school but I dont think thats going to happen now as the kids dont get off until the end of June?????
At least if they released all the European gigs together we could plan something but releasing dates in bits & pieces is no help >:( >:( I would love to go to one of the gigs in the RAH but su're I dont know if I'm waisting my time buying a ticket tomorrow or not :-\ :-\
It will be back to the drawing board again once we know the rest of the dates >:(
-
Agreed - im not sure ill buy a ticket tomorrow......i think (and have my fingers crossed) that other UK dates are announced which will be slightly more helpful in the planning process..... ???
-
I'm quite certain that there will be other UK dates (including a Scottish date) so I'll just wait.

How big is your back garden Dusty???
If the tour goes along the lines of the STP tour it would seem that they are going to finish off the tour in central Europe or maybe Russia???So they might do USA,London, mid & west Europe,UK & Irl & then on to Eastern Europe. The only thing about that is they did south America that time which is not on the agenda this time &&&&& even bigger they never played in IRELAND :o :o :o Cant see that happening this time though.
Dusty,me thinks that its Newcastle city hall again for the away leg :P :P

PLEASE NOTE: This info is to be updated again later today (25th) - TK
I hope this will be good news. Too bad TK did not say at which time he will update the info.
-
Just received an email saying due to demand you can now buy 4 tickets! Sounds a bit contradictory!
-
and i both every night...aaah,, such a nice feeling...
-
I wonder why only the RAh shows are being sold in this pre-sale style. Just that venue? Why? I mean, the Edinburgh and Newctasle city halls are smallers and vert atractives too...
But the RAh is the RAH, I know, but anyway, I don
-
probably just a promotor thing julio. some venues and promotors like to wait long, especially the american ones.
more importantly, are you going??
