Don't know if this has already been posted before:
A dance production by Breifne Holohan from 2016 about the Newcastle shipyards with some MK music tours again in 2018:

In "My Claim to Fame" there is a similar line - "Take a hammer to the sea bell", so it could be this song.

It says:
The soundtrack for Launch Day was composed and arranged by composer, Breifne Holohan. It also features music by Lindisfarne and Mark Knopfler.
I guess that the tracks you can hear in that site are the original ones by Holohan, and Lindisfarne and MK ones are not mentioned by title...

Strange it all
-
Also electric guitar in song 3...
Maybe its the composition of song 5 with the violins :P, just like some songs on Local Hero

Could be true indeed. There is no MK mentioned at the 'more info' pages about each song.

So Mark's slowly but surely goes classical/musical? How unexpected lol!

A song about Edinburgh seems incongruous for a play about the shipyards of the Tyne! :think
-
Why is not there no official information about this? :hmm

I just hope the audience aren't listening too closely to the lyrics!

Lovely music, by the way. And let me say, I love Mark composing folk music. It's just he overused the folkies on tour, that's for sure.
