Dear All,

Please note: I posted here and at my website the offical Warner's press-release yesterday. But please do not forget the story (K2GC) 2 years ago: I had the official information that first single is Let It All Go but finally True Love WIll Never Fade has been released as the single. What happens between MK and record majors is big secret for me. (do not ask me about Alchemy, I was kicked a lot and I explained  it at MK news forum - it was my first and last post there)

There is not official information for Europe and all world, Universal Music keeps a silence yet. Wait a news. But be sure, you will know first.

Would make sense to release Remembrance Day closer to the actual Remembrance Day, ie November.

Logically ;D

Perhaps Remembrance Day is just charity action likes BIA 25 single.

And Border Reiver will be played sooner then Remembrance Day. I haven't heard it on the radio yet.

Any idea if Border Reiver is going to be released as an ACTUAL cd single, which you can buy in the shops.?

I think it will not be released as CD. What is single now? Just radio airplay and digital downloads. Nothing else. True Love Never Fade was released as 7" for vinyl collectors only.

They need to issue real cd single.

Would be interesting to hear the edit. I guess all the whistle intro is gone.

Does anybody have the radio edit of What It Is? Back in 2000 somebody recorded it of Italian radio (complete with Italian DJ!) and uploaded it as an MP3, I must have listened to that 100 times before I finally got the album, when I did, the album version sounded a bit bloated in comparison to the tight radio edit.

That was my first version of What It Is, too  :) I still must have the mp3 somewhere, plus various promo TV appearances with the edited versionon VHS  :o Pity the official video of "What It Is" seems to have disappeared from youtube. That version was edited, too. Oh by the way, what about the extended Mexican version? LOVE the extra verse. Ah, good ol' times  :)

EDIT: Google is your friend  ;D Just found the video somewhere else: http://en.sevenload.com/videos/1RZxbRi-Mark-Knopfler-What-It-Is (http://en.sevenload.com/videos/1RZxbRi-Mark-Knopfler-What-It-Is)

Did anyone say that the three bonus tracks are new recordings?   It occurred to me that they will be soundboards of tracks on the KTGC tour.   Hope not.  Tell me I'm wrong.  :-\

Great news, thanks, ustas, as always.

Hey, what about the artwork for this single?  It seems a part of Ian Lewis'.   :)

Ian's has a better picture but the official is perhaps a better cover if you know what I mean;  the picture is too distracting and you tend to ignore the text.  Ian's picture has lovely bokeh don't you think?
