Title: I do NOT hate....

and the to fill in yourself. Exepct for Mark Knopfler you can fill in every artist you do NOT hate!

For me I do NOT hate U2, this month I have been to the two (2) sold out concerts in Amsterdam Arena.

I also do NOT hate : Coldplay, Bob Dylan, Eagles, Franz Ferdinand, Mando Diao.

I don't hate anyone.   Who is worth that kind of energy?   But there are people/artists I love--lots of them--and people/artists I could--and do--do without.  ;D

and many more, in fact, I don't hate anybody and I like the names above.

I like Guy  Fletcher's music (although his voice doesn't do it for me)

I like Dr Feelgood since I saw them live, etc, etc

Well, I was lucky enough to see (and tape  :P ) Tool twice this past weekend in NJ and then on Sunday in New Hampshire. The amount of "power" these guys produce through their music is just incredible. Pure talent. It blew me away and I knew it would. I still can't believe it...

Well, I don't hate a lot of bands- Yes included. There are just too many to list...

I kinda thought that "do not hate" in this particular thread means something like "like" than "do not hate", sorry my bad :)

I personally REALLY like just few of them. I mean I may like a song or two of a certain band, but for whatever reason I'm not into them so much.

Well, only to get a reaction, I'll put the name Il Divo out there for opinions.  Matt has already made his opinion crystal clear. ;D   We went to a concert to please my friend, and was amazed at the range in ages of the audience--including a whole passel of screaming girls in the expensive down front seats and old old ladies in wheelchairs.  One lady asked me to move so that she could see her "favorite group" better, especially the one with the "twinkle in the eyes."  Then almost every time he soloed, she'd nudge me and say, "that's the one with the twinkle in the eye."     Their voices are good, but I just don't know. . . . .   Very very staged.  very very choreographed.   very very dependent on sex appeal.   

The dinner before the concert was fantastic.  That restaurant makes the best custard in the world.  Certainly I can say I love that!

Well that puts it directly!   Thanks Pottel.  I think that others share this opinion--not that 80 year old lady, though.   I guess with her number of years, she can like anyone she wants to.
