I’m listening. No hint or mention of MK.
-
Ah, just mentioned. Not happened yet.

Curious who the general audience is for these "breakfast" shows. Not that Mark ever has had the need for portraying himself as hip or cool, but these types of shows certainly don't help. Get him on the Graham Norton show or something!

I can't believe how chopped up the song was. What a mess! ::)

Well it was about five minutes of telephone interview, all with Sultans being played quietly in the background. Nothing new or interesting, a question about the album title, answered with Chet Atkins, and to You’ll Never Walk Alone. Then they played about half of Good On You Son. That was it. Someone cleverer than me will have recorded it, but you ain’t missed much.

Yes,
Val. I suspect Chris Evans doesn’t much like music.

He played everything else all the way through and then completely ruined GOYS! Thank goodness I don't usually waste my time listening to this programme! Very annoyed! >:( I can't imagine that the little bits we heard of the song would increase sales of the album - rather the opposite! ::)

Oh, there was also a mention that My Bacon Roll was based on something he saw in a caff opposite the Beeb.

Yes, that was the only part that was of interest. Now we know where the cafe is. :)

Being on night shift and subsequently asleep for this, it doesn't sound like I missed much...

I agree, he should go on the Graham Norton Show. I've been wishing he would for a while!

I really don't think that audience is ready for Mark Knopfler yet; music is usually courtesy of Taylor Swift or Selena Gomez! Bring Parky back so he can stop doing these Sunlife over 60 ads. ::)

Perfect, Mark could join Parky in presenting the Sunlife over 60 'save 50p for my funeral' ads!!!!

I used to like this show, or at least, not dislike it until MK was there for tracker and he was just there while LUlu and the "le-freak" singer were interviewed and even sung...
