Title: MK musicians on Strait's new cd
Post by: IrisRose on August 18, 2009, 05:28:45 AM
I just looked at the musical line up in George Strait's new cd, Twang.  Among others:   Glenn Worf, Paul Franklin, Stuart Duncan, and Chuck Ainley.    Cool, huh.

In reality, it's difficult to look at any CD by a serious country recording artist without seeing some of those guys. They really are "as good as it gets". :)

I think it's great!  But you have to like old fashioned "Twangy" country.    George doesn't change.   But yes.  I think it's great.   I like the songs; I like the sound.

And yes, you are right.   Glenn Worf shows up on lots of recordings, as do the others.  It was just fun to see several on one cd.

I'm pretty slow on the uptake.  ::)  George STRAIT. . . .Dire STRAITS. . . . I didn't mean to mislead anyone.    ;D
