Title: 70th Birthday

With the big day coming up on Monday, it’s only just occurred to me (though probably someone else posted about it months ago!) that the interval between the two legs of the tour has been timed to enable Mark to be home for his big birthday.

I think if you look back over the years he's never had to play a show on his birthday.  I'm sure it's just the way venue availability has worked out.  ;)

He always times the tour breaks around his kids' summer holidays. Incidentally his birthday is in the summer. So much for mystery.

I wonder if he will celebrate his birthday in the US, then he will be able to relax before the start of the American leg.   He may even be there already on a family holiday.   :think

Haven't heard of anything for Mr dmg's party but no I turned down the invite from MK!!!!

Thinking back to my first MK live experience (DS in 1991), it's frightening to think that Mark was younger then than I am now!  :o :lol
