I went there with my friends from Spain just to spend a weekend. It's a nice area, a nice hotel, and is possible to visit the Isle of wight too which we did, apart of visiting Beaulieu castle and motor museum.

Not sure of any Castles in the area apart from Hurst Castle which admittedly is only a stone's throw from a certain persons home! But I'm sure you both mean Beaulieu Palace...
The whole area is absolutely amazing and I can highly recommend a visit to the area and also one must visit the Isle of Wight....When are you coming to stay dmg??!!

Yes, I ment the Palace! We also went to Brock Hurst (don't recall if the name is right) as we read that Th gypsy Moth was there, at the Beaulieu River, that it was, but unfortunately on manteinence so we couldn't visit it...

I think you mean Brockenhurst. Yes, the whole area is lovely, hence why I live here, still never seen Mark around though :(
