With both 'Brothers in Arms' & 'On Every Street' eliminated, we will in the next week find out the next album to join them on the sidelines...

I like Communique but, from the ones remaining, it's the one that has to go now for me.

Now, it's very difficult to choose this one; but I personally did not like the style that emerged after the first 3 albums. Love Over Gold is an excellent album. But for the sake of consistency and regretfully I say love over gold. What a group... can you take a look at these works that we have to sift through?

This time around my vote goes to Communique. I really like this album, and it has several of my favourite songs (Once Upon A Time In The West, Where Do You Think You're Going and Single Handed Sailor) but it also has a few songs that I will listen to when I'm playing the complete album but wouldn't go out of my way to play on their own (the title track, Angel Of Mercy and Follow Me Home). Making Movies has my least favourite track, Les Boys, but the rest of the album more than makes up for it, particularly the outstanding opening three songs and I think it holds up better as a complete record. I did not consider voting off the debut or Love Over Gold as I like all of the songs on those albums and do not consider skipping tracks when listening to either of them.

I'd highly recommend all to give Communique a spin before voting ;-)
The sound, songs and unique feel of the record; to me, it oozes cool, and Making Movies is a bit too much of a proper "Rock"-record for me.
Trying to put a bit of Springsteen in to it. It is good, though, but well, opinions eh? ;-)
