The boot of the whole show (which also features Bonnie Raitt) is an absolute must-have—definitive versions of so many great Paul Brady songs, and Mark on top form. Sadly, the only official recording (with MK) from this show is Baloney Again.

You forgot Dutchessy’s favorite: Done with Bonaparte! Sorry, couldn’t resist… :lol
It’s a very nice recording, lots of good songs and quite good sound quality too.

soon to be released and MK will for sure be in it as it has chapters like:
28. Touring with Dire Straits
33. Primitive Dance
41. The Paul Brady Songbook at Vicar Street, October 2001
'I would read/listen to anything that Paul Brady has to say. A voice of our times.' --Harry Belafonte
'A troubadour, an honest man, fearless and true, an inspiration to anyone who would like to be a storyteller... And all that's without trying to describe the way he sings and plays, that's beyond me...' --Eric Clapton
'Paul Brady is strong stuff ....more real and more honest than most people would even try for ....a genuine voice speaking from the heart but with a brain still attached ...I love his work and always have.' --David Crosby
'People get too famous too fast these days and it destroys them. Some guys got it down - Leonard Cohen, Paul Brady, Lou Reed - my secret heroes' --Bob Dylan
'This is the story of a youngster in love with the music he heard on the radio in Ireland, teaching himself piano and guitar before finding his own voice and becoming a leading international singer-songwriter.' --Mark Knopfler
'Like so many of his songs and his presentation of them, Crazy Dreams is a work of art at once driving and delicate, gritty and graceful.' --Paul Muldoon
'Few can write, sing and play with more gorgeous melody, virtuosity and soulful lyrics than Paul Brady. He's written some of the most powerful and beloved songs I sing and will always be one of my favorite artists.' --Bonnie Raitt
Crazy Dreams is the compelling and highly anticipated autobiography from Paul Brady, a musician whose remarkable career has spanned six decades and who is indisputably one of Ireland’ s greatest living songwriters. This evocative memoir chronicles Paul’ s many years at the forefront of the Irish folk scene, from The Johnstons and Planxty through to his seminal work with Andy Irvine and onwards to his own vaunted solo career. Along the way are the many encounters and collaborations with such musical luminaries as Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Carole King, Tina Turner, Mark Knopfler and Bonnie Raitt to name but a glittering few. From such celebrated tracks as ‘ The Island’ , ‘ Nobody Knows’ and ‘ The World is What You Make It’ to his interpretations of traditional folk songs like ‘ Arthur McBride’ and ‘ The Lakes of Pontchartrain’ , Paul has carved out his own unique place in Irish musical history. In Crazy Dreams he tells how it was done and regales the reader with remarkable stories of life on the road and the journey from small-town Tyrone to the world’ s stage.

This concert with Paul Brady was actually the first concert I ever went to when I was 17, first time to see MK. Still my family talks about it to this day, the sound was incredible that night. MK played on alot of songs - Lakes of Pontchartrain, Homes of Donegal are other highlights from this concert.

Lucky you! These smaller one off shows are always a treat. Bonnie Raitt being there must have just been the icing on the cake!

Yep, somewhat makes up for MK not doing Dublin for the STP tour which should have been my first concert :-/
