Title: Does a studio version excits?
Post by: Marnix on May 21, 2023, 01:56:51 PM
I don’t know if it’s discussed before but I am wondering are there studio versions of “What’s the matter baby?” and “I think I love you too much” ?
I really love those songs but I never understood why they aren’t on any studio album ?

There is one studio version of "What's the matter" recorded in an acetate with a "Solid rock" version on the other side, with the original band line, before David left the band, a very rare collector item.

About "I think I love you too much" I asked Guy and he said he thinks they recorded it during the OES sessions.

Speaking of rarities.
What are the rarest DS/MK recordings?
I knew about WTMB studio version.
There is a version of TOL with the original lineup?

We are talking about things never commercialy released.

In the rarest recording category  I would say live IEM stealths from 2008.

In light of recent events, I’d love to hear the original Private Dancer demo.
