new look: https://www.direstraits.com/

The whole thing feels so "too little, too late".
-
That timeline is pretty amazing, with all the detailed dates!
-
And why now??
-
All this was before. But I like the new artwork :)
-
Looks nice, but, I want some new unreleased material, etc. a box set.
-
Alchemy cover art for the 40th anniversary of the concert... :think
I planned a chronicle on 23th of course ;)
-
But album is from 1984 ;)

yes, but a lot of wrong dates : joining dates of Alan Clark and Terry Williams can't be the ones inidicated on the timeline, neither the recording one for extendedEPlay

This website is run bu Official Community based in Canada.
They have a longish relationship with MK, so much so they have a case study on their site about how they turned his website into something with visitors and that was 'profitable'.
My sense is they are also behind the youtube channel and the Alchemy branding is just a branding approach rather than any kind of coordinated approach with the label on a re-release. Though I would happily be wrong on this !

I remember Guy telling something about stuff from Alchemy to be released.

wasn't he talking about the "new" version of Portobello Belle in the MFN comp reissue last year ?
-
I don't think so.

He was quite vague about it, as he had mentioned that was working with some old recordings or something similar, we know he has the Hammersmith tapes as he used them for the Portobello mix for the new MFN compilation but he answered to someone (maybe me) regarding OES tour recordings so... Who knows if he was or is working on something related to Alchemy, On the night or whatever...
