On July 4th 1978, Dire Straits played a concert at Barbarella's in Birmingham as part of their promotional tour following the release of their debut album. One of the first bootlegs I ever listened to.

My first bootleg CD was Boston 1979 with an amazing version Where Do You Think You're Going , but before that, I had Rotterdam 1978 and Live USA '79 on tape:)

I like this show very much.  I think it shows the band at its best in the early days.
