From the first time I saw this video and to this day I still cringe when I see these uncut guitar strings flopping around Mark's guitar. It's such a strange non-Knopfler thing.

Maybe Mark thought so too, and didn't repeat it. I love the performance though.

Maybe he has just changed the strings and they were in a hurry to shoot the clip ?  :think

Anytime I change my strings I just snip those bits off. :)

The very thought of him attempting that in 2019 is hysterical.  I think his glasses would fall off and he'd do his back!   :lol
