One of my favourite New York photographers for sure, RIP to a legend. And he's got some Russian ancestors too...
To be frank, any of his pictures can be an album cover. It's not photos, it's visual poetry of highest standards.
Street, news, war photographers are the greatest at capturing the perfect moments of life.

The photographer Robert Frank and his wife, Mary, on the Spanish coast of Valencia.

I wonder how Mark chose this cover in the first place. Can't remember him discussing it anywhere.

To the microphone of my favorite journalist Mark said: "

"There is a lot of me here. The album is not only a set of songs. Also the cover. This picture sums up not only most of the songs, it describes our struggles, love, awareness of having a place. See how often in our lives it is the kitchen. There to sit down, pour a glass of wine, talk. A reminder of the most important things. This is an excellent photo"

The whole interview is great.

I'm curious about Mark's decision to select this cover. I don't recall him discussing it anywhere.
