Title: On Every Street - Mobile Fidelity
Post by: mschaap on January 23, 2024, 09:27:38 PM: The Mobile Fidelity version of On Every Street just got released. Just listened to Planet of New Orleans and was very surprised to hear the lyrics actually sung like they are printed in the booklet. The first sentence of the chorus in this version really goes ‘New Orleans - THE OTHER PLANET’. Sound is very clear, tight and insightful although a bit light on the bass compared to the 1991 original. Any other opinions about this MFSL version?

My guess is that it was in the masters, they edited it out in 1991 but they used it in this new release.

Same with that sax sounds in the start of Solid rock from Alchemy, I bet.
