My parents look like that when we chat via webcam LOL Looks like it's from Mark's house.

I have to say I was sceptical when I saw the girl who did the interview, but she was excellent! Well-informed, and she asked great questions. AND she prefaced many questions with known information and then asked Mark to elaborate. Great job.

I also was surprised about the young Lady who was well-informed and asked good questions. Even our man seemed to like it.

Dear Rolo, wonderful interview, I was happy and surprised that it was done by a Brazilian, she conducted it brilliantly, did her homework very well, good questions, left Mark remarkably interested in the subjects, I have rarely seen Mark Knopfler so at ease in a interview. Interesting that apparently it was from his house, the first time this has happened in this format!

It almost seems as if he's begun to like interviews and understand the potential that video chats and podcasts have. I hope he'll do a lot more!

I think he seems very tired here and can barely remember what he was going to say.  Maybe been doing too much lately.

I suddenly wanted to be 30 years younger, work in the fields, in restaurant dishwashing rooms, work as a porter, etc., save the money, get on a plane, go to Brazil, sleep in front of this girl's house and try to get into her heart.

Nice interview - she did a really good job! Nice to actually hear an interesting conversation about Mark and the current state, not dwelling upon stuff that happened 40 years ago.0

Yes, you are right - rather than giving him clues to make him say the same things we've heard over and over, she used her homework of other interviews (recent ones!) to ask a new question. The bit about things going full circle was great, with Mark on the Everly Brothers, and then the interviewer in regards to Mark himself - she is clearly a fan. And has a smile to die for  :)
