Woke up Tuesday on my lovely wife and my 45th wedding anniversary and one gift was waiting for us on YouTube by one of AMITs stalwarts and most gifted member.
I'd like to thanks to PF for this gem. Have, always rated MKs accoustic outro on LOG as a timeless favourite! :clap :clap
Could someone pls embed it here for me? Been too long since I did it.

I’ve been trying but I’m not sure why it’s not working to be honest.

It's not working because it's a short link I believe (youtu.be). I'll try to embed the full link below and it should work. Happy anniversary indeed!
One of my all-time favourite solos too, and the band is on fire on this one. This song gives me nostalgic feelings for times I wasn't even born in.

Cheers my friend Pottel,
Been lurking for a long time but a new batch of beauties has the old engines ticking over again.
Mark keeps talking about these circular moments. Must be a seniors phenomenon? Because I have been having em every time I listen to a new track from this release. Funny bit of trivia but one actually applied to a 1969? song that N.Y. released that I was keen on. {Can you pls embed it for me as it's been too long} So the circle closes because now as a senior a HOT CHOCOLATE with a dash of Cinnamon to help me sleep . .. ...

The adlib on the outro reminds me of MK when he adds a few riffs of other musicians during TOL played live.
Also shows that the Beatles used the same 🎸🎶 tuning on Norwegian Wood as NY used on Cinnamon Girl - drop D. And I can't play 🎸 to save myself.

dropped D is also used on "Harvest Moon". We play it in our acoustic duo

Nice one! To my understanding it enhanses the crispness of the back beat? Does it contribute to the grungy feel on cinnamon girl?
Has MK ever used it?

Mark used dropped D tunning on let it all go live versions in 2007, with the white strat (AVO) or the sig strat (Berlin)

Fun guitar tip:
Take your capo and put it across all strings at the second fret except the bottom E.
Hey presto! Instant drop D without re-tuning! (albeit in E rather than D :) )

Steve Earle explains better than me :)

Nice video. The grungy sound that it gives resonates with me. I am jealous of all you folks who can play. I'm just a listener. . . which where MK is concerned not too bad. :clap :wave
