In celebration of the National Album Day 2024 theme of ‘Great British Bands’, a limited-edition half-speed mastered version of Making Movies will be released. Featuring reversed artwork colourway, it carries the Abbey Road Half-speed Mastering obi-strip, and is pressed on black 180g 1LP. Available Saturday 19th October from the official Dire Straits online store and at all UK music retailers. Release details for International fans to follow shortly.
Nice touch with the reversed artwork.

The German version of the Romeo And Juliet single :)

I am happy to get a half-speed mastered version on one LP. There was already a half-speed version in 1980/1981 and nowadays the double vinyl version but it's a nice recognition for this album if you look what other artists were released and are coming up this year.

The only thing is... this probably means no Christmas release this year. Here's hoping for BIA deluxe boxset in the March - May release window in 2025.
