Awesome!
I just hope they will do away with the horrible spacey CGI from the 2003 director's cut. What the hell was Adrian thinking!!!

I am sure they have. I am interested to hear what Steven Wilson has done with the remix and Atoms, he has a good reputation in this field, and he loves the Floyd.

I hope it is, it should look gorgeous, I have pre-orderd the CD, and like you I order Floyd without thinking, the only thing I was ever let down by was Roger's stupid Redux DSOM album :hmm

I am going for the blu-ray and the vinyl. Love to have both. It's one of the coolest concerts ever anyway and so far I was only watching it on YouTube. Also, Meddle is among my favourite Pink Floyd albums.

That DSOM redux was probably the worst artistic output ever. It meant the destruction and staining of one of the greatest musical achievements of the past century, all because of one guy's mix of dementia and pathological narcisism.

As a Pink Floyd fan, I just pretend it never existed.

I agree, it was a total waste of time for Roger to make it.

Hum as an artist he is entitled to do what please him.

Of course he is, but to me as a listener, I found it a waste of time.

Yep it was a waste of your time. And a little of mine as well.

But Nick enjoyed it calling it "pretty brillant".

Sony bought the rights for the physical releases. I was thrilled to see that the holy grail of Pink Floyd that was never released on record was the first announcement from Sony. Hopefully they will release more things, especially now that AI technology an separate recordings, so that they can clear them up and remix them later.
The only issue with the Sony re-releases, of the basic back catalog,  seems to be  the new very high prices. Hopefully they will come to their senses and lower them considerably.

Pink Floyd IMAX Pompeii screening took place in London last week. Nick Mason and Steven Wilson held a Q&A session and theatre goers were treated to watching the newly crafted Pompeii film. Our NPF correspondant Tim bumped into Steven Wilson outside the cinema. There were indications that a 4K UHD home media release of Pompeii is in the works along with new artwork. Watch this space. It would be a shame to create a stunning 4K video and then only share on Blu-Ray at less than 4K.
How nice it would be if we have something from the DS days and MK and JI would do a Q&A session.
