I hate this, what about you? You want it? You get it here! http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/2076421/775222/

I like pressed bootlegs, just old-fashioned in that, but only with live / unreleased stuff, bootlegs with released stuff are the real piracy in this kind of stuff and to me is not acceptable at all >:(
-
Yes, jbaent, I think the same! Above all, it seems a quite uninspired collection of songs. Everybody can put together a "favourite MK play list" every day for new so I don
-
Since this material is still officially available I think that it should not be publicitized here other than as just a warning not to buy it. I would not give any public link to get it.
-
I'm not sure what's going on here. Has the post been removed? Selling official material is definitely forbidden in our guidelines.

Fair enough. Link removed. I don't think anyone would disagree with that since this clearly isn't official. (P.S. I think you meant to write "still not officially".)

I've thought about making my own best of MK on a double cd, but I had to admit that it was a hard thing to do. It turned out that i love way too many songs to squeeze them into 2 cds. So, I dropped the idea and instead I just shuffle all the songs in my ipod and listen to them all. That was a much better idea. It's just hard to omit some songs.

I maintain the "Since this material is still officially available" although not clear for everybody.
I mean that the recorded content of the counterfeit product is available on genuine records issued by mercury and still on sale. If you want the music you can easily buy it legally.
I would oppose it to discontinued official recordings that are not available anymore and thus hard/impossible to find from legal sellers.
The Yardbirds album "Live" from 1968 for example.

I had a kind of discussion with the people from the MK official site about "Comfort and Joy" and "Extended dance play" EPs, as they are are oficial releases by DS and MK, they should be there, but as both are out of print and non of them available in cd, they decided that it was better to ignore them.
Regarding bootlegs, I always dreamed that MK could do something like others artists are doing, release their own official bootlegs, but then I realise that

You never can say never, don't you?
Who though that Mark would accept to inaugurate a commemorative plaque for DS first gig?
I still dream of the impossible ;)
I think I found that other thread ;D
The plaque thing is not the same, in musical terms MK always says he doesn't want to look back, actually I'm pretty sure that the fact that BIA was remastered in 5.1 and also Alchemy had nothing to do with him, and probably the people resposible for that (I bet Chuck Ainlay) spent many many time trying to convince MK, and I

Wasn't GF for BIA 5.1 ?
And Chuck was most probably asked by Mercury to do the job.
I have no single evidence that Ainlay has particular interest in working on DS vault. He is paid to do a job and he do it. Alchemy reissue is for me a 100% record company project to cash in and please us the fan who are waiting for it for long time
