Hi Ingrid! Yes Amsterdam was wonderful, I loved it, but these days I really like to have a nice relaxing meal beforehand and not have to queue all afternoon, possibly in the wind and rain, so we are going for seated venues this time - not because we are old and feeble, you understand! :lol
When it's early entry again we don't have to queue a lot. Last time in 2010 I only queued from around 17.00.

There are other Travelodges - I believe Dusty has stayed at one closer to the RAH. I'm sure he can tell you more. You can catch a bus, of course, but that's more expense! We travel free though! ;D
Or when we all stay at the same place we can share cabs ;-)

Last time Rotterdam took me 4 hours, missing few songs of the MK part... It can't beat just one hour drive to Cologne or Brussels. ;D

I've always liked Travelodges, I'd be amazed if they went out of business. I stayed somewhere near in 2003, but I can't remember if it was Traveltavern or Premier Inn.

It seems to be that the extra handling charges have either been reduced or dropped completely - they were there this morning, but not now. Maybe they were charging too much - there has been a lot of criticism in the media about extortionate extras. :-\

That's good news. There's always a good atmosphere at the RAH and I always attribute it to the number of visitors, especially the wonderful fans from Spain and Italy who clap and sing their way through every song! ;D

Would like to have a discount for everyone involved, if the eventorganization says no too I try to find a hotel nearby who wants to cooperate.

No, I dont have any experience with recording the shows. I tried to audio record some songs in Barcelona show that I went to last year, but after a while I gave up, because I realized that I couldnt express myself and sing and dance as much as I wanted if I was busy recording instead of just listening to the great music and living that unbelievable moment in my life, that really left a mark in my existence. It was my first MK show, you see. Now I understand you, guys, when you go to so many shows around the world to witness something that I can say is the best concert ever.
So, to cut a long story short, I can help you with the playlist and the general feeling of the show, which I m sure will be great. But not with the footage.
What do you think, Regensburg will be a great venue? I chose to go there, because I heard the city is really beautiful, and I want to stay a few days longer there and have a vacation. And after I bought the tickets on 3rd September in presale on mk.com, this morning I received the email saying that the first show will be in Bucharest. So, I have to go at this first one, too, because is right here in my town.
But I realized that it would be also nice to attend a show in an outdoor arena, not only indoor, and the thought of going to Madrid at the end of July started to creep into my head.
Do I sound crazy or I just like MK and his music too much :D ;D?

I'm doing Royal Albert Hall on the 27th in the Arena Seating (Zone F) - nearest to stage - and like the Fanboi I am, I'm going back the next night with some buddies, and we have 3 seats in the first row of Zone M in the stalls.

If someone has experience in Zone F Arena, or First Row Stall M at Royal Albert Hall - please let me know - flying a long way to see him live at the this classic venue :-)

This has been my reasoning in the past for choosing the stalls and not the arena, but this time I'm taking the risk and going for the arena. At least I'll then know one way or another which is best because for the first night I'm about a dozen rows back.

Why Budapest ?
Very easy : to meet the Chairman ! Or to be met by the Chairman ;) It depends.
It's a bit complicated for me to get days off, even in advance.
A couple of years ago, I almost missed a show in Zurich because last minute I had to work.
My strategy is to focus on Saturdays and find what's affordable and convenient.
Budapest happened to one of my best options this time.
Of course I had analyzed the possibility of going to Bratislava but I gave up because of the French shows the same week.
The irony is I'm not doing the French show that is on saturday. :disbelief For the moment ;)

Has anyone picked up tix in any of the Carrefour or Fnac ticket centre locations? If so, should I expect long lines, or is this typically a quick pick-up? Also, are there any Carrefour or Fnac ticket centre locations you can recommend near the train station?

I always buy at Fnac (cultural goods and electronics) or Carrefour (hypermarkets). Too many unlucky tries on mk.com presales :disbelief
They have a ticket desk at the entrance and it should be quick. It can't be different in Spain.
In fact there might be a better solution : why don't you try ticketmaster.es ?
They are official, I mean not second hand, and you can print your ticket home :thumbsup

I ran into new issues, though... I spent HOURS on ticketmaster.es yesterday (this is also where the MK.com site points me to for tickets). ... Sooo frustrated... I am not sure if I can buy tickets with my US credit card. I've run into this before; apparently, European banks do not accept US cards, instead they want a "verified Visa" or a "Secure MasterCard". Still trying to resolve. :smack
