Post by: JeroenvG on May 23, 2013, 11:47:43 AM
Just got a mail from songkicks that Mark will play the Ziggodome Again on 8th June with Toto.

Looks Mark will be playing before toto. Nothing confirmed yet!

Very unlikely. Announcing just two weeks before, Mark being an "Opening Act" or something? I doubt it very much, just a typo imho..

That would fit the schedule, as June 8 was one of the cancelled Russia dates, and they play Zwolle on the 7th.

why would mark play opening act for a (great) band that only sold 35million albums? very, very unlikely, not impossible...

Don't worry, Pottel is focusing on his bunch of upcoming UK shows and he surely is in a great mood. ;D

Because he cancelled a show on this date and is trying to find another gig to fill that slot.

But he would do so as a headliner not an opening act.

If this was a regular tour date that MK's management had loads of time to work out, I agree that Mark is a more likely headliner than Toto.  I'm assuming this is all he could find that works into the schedule, makes money, etc. on such short notice. It's not like Toto is just gonna give up the headline spot of a show they already had scheduled.
