A nice cover due to appear on her new album.

Interesting that a former collaborator is covering a MK song. Ruth Moody should cover Hot or What? ;)

Could stand it for 30 seconds. It's one of my favourites you probably know. And she's just another MK girl.. always same type.. same style. . Pieta sounds like a bad version of Edie Brickell to me. This masterpiece should not be ruined by some banjo folk girl...

With the most polite word: This is bad. Not a good idea at the first place. You can't turn every song to this style. And i don't know why MK choose this girls for collobration or as a opener. They have nothing special. Bap Kennedy has his own stle. Jon Allen too. But not these girls.

I don't like it either. But thanks for sharing anyway!

I don't like it either, she completely ruins Before Gas & TV. Ruth Moody, however, is in a different class altogether. I really enjoyed her performances and her albums are very good, especially These Wilder Things. :)

What a boring cover... Its a lovely song turned into a boring one, that voice and banjo made me wish the song to end as soon as possible.

Hey Banjo99uk, although there is a lot of negative talk about Banjos in this thread, thanks a lot for the link nevertheless! AMIT first hand news source as
usual! All the best!

I think that it is a very nice cover. Maybe the original is too good to compare with, but it is not bad at all.
